Principal’s Weekly Update
March 06, 2026
Dear Families and Caregivers,
We set a goal to exceed last year’s and our students responded in true CHB fashion! Thanks to your generosity, we collected 1,700 cereal boxes. The enthusiasm for the kindness domino event was palpable today. Our demonstration came down the steps and wrapped throughout the first floor hallway and back again. Way to spread kindness and cereal for a cause!
Also, it’s that time of year. Remember to adjust your clocks ahead by one hour this weekend.
YMCA Aftercare and Special Election: Aftercare on March 10 is canceled due to voting in the building after school. Please remember it is an early dismissal.
ECO Action NEW DATES!: We’re excited to announce our second Eco Action Week schedule, March 16–20, 2026, the Wind Derby! We’re inviting families and community members to join us during school hours to help with a fun, hands-on event that brings our lessons to life. We need your help to make this event a success.
